Eric Alexandres is an ultra runner fueled by a passion for extreme distance and the transformative power of the trail. In October 2026, he will take on one of ultrarunning's most challenging races: the Moab 240.
The Moab 240 is a 240-mile, ~29,000 ft elevation gain ultramarathon put on by Destination Trail in the heart of the Utah desert. With a 112-hour cutoff, this race demands not just physical endurance, but mental resilience, expert crew support, and months of dedicated training.
Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting the crew and pacers who will help Eric reach the finish line—covering flights, lodging, vehicle rental, nutrition, and safety equipment needed for those five grueling days in the Moab desert.
Organized by Destination Trail, the Moab 240 stands as one of the most demanding ultramarathon courses in North America. The race traverses some of the most stunning—and brutally unforgiving—desert terrain in Moab, Utah, with an elevation profile that tests even the most experienced ultrarunners.
